"Lean" and "Lean Marketing" - The 7 Rules
You have heard of Lean manufacturing or lean production, which is often known simply as "Lean", this is a production practice that considers the expenditure of resources for any goal other than the creation of value for the end customer to be wasteful, and is therefore a target for elimination. In other words - "More value with less work".
I would like to present some "Lean Marketing" ideas for consideration.
The 7 rules for lean marketing:
| | Look for multiple rewards for your efforts. Use your mistakes as learning opportunities If something is not working - "STOP" and reassess Aim for maximum impact with minimal effort Work smarter - not harder - be effective Use the easiest route available - ties in with number 5 Measure progress by results - this is the only truth.

Lean Marketing saves money, and is better and more effective.
| | Develop clear, fresh, and different marketing ideas. Good marketing is lean. Don't be cheap. Go for quality not quantity. Hire freelancer talent not staff. Hire the best freelancers you can afford. Second-rate people will not save you money. Use the 80/20 rule and keep marketing simple. If it doesn't work, STOP USING IT! Keep your communications LASER FOCUSED Create buzz - get people talking about your products and or services. Talk is cheap. Word of mouth is a powerful tool. Use advertising very sparingly - it is very expensive. Use little or no primary market research.
